Dr. Joy Culbertson is the owner of Holmes Veterinary Hospital in Laurens, SC. She holds degrees from Clemson University and the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine.

Dr. Culbertson’s relationship with Speak for Animals began in 2009 at Foothills Veterinary Hospital in Greenville, SC. Once moved to Laurens County, she has seen the great need for spay/neuter education and assistance for families in need. Dr. Culbertson has made Speak for Animals an integral role for her practice. Dr. Culbertson, at Holmes Veterinary Hospital, has performed over 1500 spay/neuter surgeries
each year since 2019 – most through the help of Speak for Animals!

Dr. Culbertson, in her time away from veterinary practice, enjoys the company of her husband and 2 children on her small farm in Laurens.
