Sitara became involved with Speak for Animals in 2015 as a volunteer at their Spay Mania events. She has continued to volunteer for SFA and has recently been a sponsor at the annual Sips for Snips event through her real estate company, Red Door Realty.

Sitara has a deep passion for animal rights and protection. She is vegan and donates a portion of her real estate commissions to nonprofit animal rescue organizations. Sitara is originally from Connecticut and lived in London, England, for six years before settling in Greenville in 2013.

She lives downtown with her three rescue cats and was honored and excited to join the SFA board in 2024!
